Benchstop Security Doors provide Steel Security doors for internal or external installation on agricultural, industrial, commercial and residential premises.
Our Steel Security Doors are manufactured to order in single, leaf & a half and double security door varieties to your exact specifications, including a variety of door furniture, glazed or louvred panels and a wide choice of colours and finishes.
Our Steel Security Doors also come with the added option of thermal and acoustic insulation. Please mention this when enquiring if you would like this included in your order.
Steel Security Door Specifications
- Steel Security Doors manufactured from super strong 1.2mm zintec steel
- Folded 45mm thick leaf with composite Dufaylite honeycomb core
- Integral anti-jemmy strip to defend against crowbar attack
- Our steel door frames are manufactured from 1.6mm zintec steel
- An easy to fit adjustable frame is provided as standard, which includes 10 adjusters if required
- Our steel door frames also include an internal hinge chassis system for additional strength and security
- All of our steel security doors include the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant aluminium threshold as standard
- Each security door includes a minimum of 4 high quality, stainless steel hinges (BS 1935.2002 grade 13). Larger doors are provided with 6 hinges
- Our security doors include a minimum of 6 no. 17.5mm solid steel dog bolts, with larger doors being provided with 9 bolts
- We provide a variety of finishes, including unfinished zintec, primer only or a powder coating in a wide variety of colours to suit any desired colour scheme. Click here to see our colour chart.
- We offer a variety of handles, closers, limit stays, letter boxes, spy viewers and more
- All security doors can be provided with vented louvres or glazing with Georgian wired glass, polycarbonate or laminate as options

Further Details About Our Steel Security Doors with Frames:
Security
Our steel doors are robust and strong, and when installed correctly can be extremely difficult to breech.
We recommend that any new steel door opens outwards as this is when the door is at its strongest thanks to our dog-bolts and integral anti-jemmy strip to protect the frame and lock, which is included as standard.
The vast majority of traditionally constructed inward opening doors can be ‘kicked in’ as the internal frame does not resist the attack as well as it could.
Door furniture
Our steel security doors can be fitted with the same furniture as any other doors, such as letter boxes, spy viewers, vision panels, lever handles, door knobs and more.
Numerous locking systems are available including:

- security deadlocks
- multi point locking systems
- magnetic locks
- and many more.
Optional extras include:

Benchstop Security Doors can be supplied unfinished or primer finished, ready for painting on site.
Our in-house paint plant offers a full range of ready stocked powder coated coloured finishes,with further special, non-stock colours available at an additional cost.
